Play it Again Val
Val’s is our favourite one-stop shop for any occasion. This award-winning consignment shop has been a mainstay in the community for decades (since opening in 1985!). Whether you’re on the hunt for casual wear, bridal items, prom or graduation dresses, handbags, shoes or more — you’ll have a blast browsing their curated selection of designer names and trendy treasures. As a family-owned business Dianne and her daughters (Eliza and Shanna) are on a mission to make fashion affordable for everyone.

it's Worth Repeating
Originally opened by Cindy Somerville in Whitby nearly 30 years ago, this
upscale resale consignment store is now located in Courtice. It was recently
taken over by store employee Meaghan Anthony-Harkness who fell in love with
it right away and is putting her own spin on this local staple. You’re bound to
snag great finds and amazing prices on gently used or never-worn quality
clothing, outerwear, footwear, purses and accessories. The shop also spotlights specialty items by local makers.

The Salvation Army Oshawa
Located in downtown Oshawa, this thrift shop is a great place to score discounted prices on gently used household items and clothing for the whole family. And whether you shop here or donate items, know that you’re contributing to an organization that provides support to those in need and gives back to the local community. If you’ve got some extra time on your hands, you can also apply to be a volunteer on their website.
