The gals at Gather are super friendly and go out of their way to find quality items they know customers will love. Be prepared for friends to comment on your finds. We get a lot of, “Where’d you get that?” when we’re in our Gather gear. If you’re not in town, the shop offers free shipping when you spend more than $75.

Custom signs are really hot right now and Words on Wood has made a successful business out of offering workshops and private parties where you can create stunning hand-painted signs and custom farmhouse decor pieces for your place. They have an online store, but their brick-and-mortar shop is super fun to visit. (Get those creative juices flowing!)

If you’re looking for something to do on a cool fall afternoon, consider visiting Blue Heron Books. This charming local bookstore is in a 200-year-old building in the heart of Uxbridge, and it’s become a hub for those who love strolling the aisles.
